hitchcox Iam also in Toronto. Have you tried the thermal system on any buildings? I'd love to know how well it functions. Also curious re how well it uses local carriers like Rogers and Bell.

Ordered on Nov 20 and received the phone in Toronto, Canada on Dec 7. No damage in the package or the contents. Box was sealed with thin vinyl cover. A thin protected film was already placed on the screen, so I put the tempered glass on top of it. Touch screen works fine. So far so good!

This is a very nice looking watch! and it was delivered quickly. the watch strap really looks and feels like leather, and is stamped as "genuine leather", and is comfortably soft. the watch itself is quite distinguished looking, and not small. it will dominate your wrist in a good way. the faceplate seems to be black, but the lense/crystal cover casts a blue ghosting that makes the watch shimmer as you move. it is really quite elegant. and the price cannot be ignored! I am thinking of getting another one to give as a gift.

I ordered these bulbs after some "DC " bulbs failed in my apparently AC fixtures. (my bad, obviously). I have plugged one in to a fixture and it has now been making great light for 8 or 9 hours. I am happy with the warm colour, and will buy again. One thing to be careful about is the length of bulb: they are longer than the halogen bulbs they replace, so make sure that your fixture has space. One of mine does, and another will require me to not put the UV glass back on. but these are not high UV, so should be totally safe.

I ordered this phone to use mainly as a 3d vr camera as it has a good screen to look at photos on, etc. the android system allows for 3rd party apps, so it is flexible. the screen has curved edges, and the included glass protector does not quite sit flat on it, but it works. there is no protector for the 3d lenses. the thermal sensor works, but is hardly mentioned. it gives a spot temperature for what is in front of the phone. the normal cameras are ok with good detail. no issues. the 3d cameras, and the vr app, may take 13mp x 2 images, but the total image stored is rarely greater than 2 mp. ie, 26 mp goes to 2 mp, so the detail is poor. there does not appear to be any settings available to change this. also, my phone's two 180 degree cameras are not aligned and the VR files always have jaggie overlaps between the images. there does not appear to be any overrides for the 360 vr camera or app, meaning that raw photos cannot be saved for later alignment, and full resolution cannot be forced. the D7 is useful, but not as useful as it promises to be. the 360 vr camera is its specialty, but that part is not well executed or seemingly supported. the thermal sensor is good, but undocumented. the vr cameras t as units 2 and 3, and so far I have not found any 3rd party apps to access or control the cameras. the internal driver/interface to the cams appears to be proprietary. the physical quality is solid and feels good. most of the software is good. however, if you are looking for a 360 cam that saves 13 to 18mb compressed vr photos, as I was, this unit does not appear to be up to the task

Q: I have this phone, purchased from Banggood. the 3d vr photo files are saved at about 1 to 2 mb, even though the camera reports as 2 x 13 mb. is there a hidden setting to force the camera or vr app to use the full camera resolution? thanks.
