I'd been tinkering with Raspberry Pis and sensors for some time when a friend recommended these devices, eventually bought a 5 pack despite being skeptical at the price. Turns out my doubt was completely missplaced. The NodeMcu are fantastic for controlling LEDs, reading sensors and displaying information with separate screens. WiFi seems to work very well. All pieces are working fine. (Blink test, Arduino IDE). the price is correct, but the delivery was a bit long. and most of all, the order was splitted (my request), but I loose the tracking during the process. too bad. However the ESP8266 is a great chip, reliable and versatile. Thank you.
