Really good kit, easy to make, unfortunately with a 24 volt ac supply I only get 0 to 26 volts dc out, not the 0 to 30 dc as advertised, it does regulate perfectly up to it's max at 26 volts. I have another identical kit on the way from another supplier so will soon see if it is a common problem.

this is the third one of these I have purchased, again there are a few parts missing, also like the previous two you don't not get 30 volts, in the case of this latest version it is only 22 volts in reality,. however I would suggest using sockets for the op amps them replace the TLO,81 op amp that sits at edge of board with a UA741 this will give you the 30 volts and also the zero adjust will work

now that is seriously good little kit, perfect white noise over a large output range, very easy to build in 15 or 20 minutes, incredibly good value for money too.

Very easy and quick to make and quite nicely contained in its enclosure, I can only get a decent sine wave if I run it off 13 volts dc, any less and the tops and bottoms are cut off the waveform, triangle wave has no peaks at all with a very flat top regardless of supply voltage, square wave is pretty good, been over all my components and does not appear to be anything I have done wrong, may be just unlucky, perhaps expected too much for £5,,,,still perfectly useable as sine wave generator if run from 13v and not the 9v to 12v as suggested

I bought the version where you have to build the display panel, this may prove to be well beyond the skills of a hobby builder, buy the version where the display is assembled if you are not great at soldering, other than that is a great kit and it actually works at the end of the build, good fun.

Q: What is the intended function of the push button? When I push it repeatedly the display goes a sequence of displays --- add, sub, er xx , only one actually displays a frequency of the input. Can I obtain a copy of the program code. I assume it is in "C' ? Thanks Dave Druif *****

BG555131617 Ifyou open the QR CODE that came on the assembly instructions that site will explain it all well. I was unable to open the qr directly on phone but had to input the url directly in to pc where it could be viewed. "Quit" : Aborts programming mode without changing anything. 8
