There have been a few negative comments about this frame and it seems it's by people who 1) have never had a ZMR250 frame or 2) have not looked closely at this one. The ZMR was my first quad. This will be my third ZMR and the seventh quad I have built. My frame is not the same as the pics on Banggood's site. However practically, it's the same. Mine has holes in the upper deck so you can remove the screws retaining the arms without removing the upper deck. This means you can change a broken arm in the field very quickly! There are more slots in the lower deck for different camera positions. There are less cut-outs in the parts, presumably to make it stronger. One thing I don't like is the extra holes at the base of the arms. I assume they are there to zip tie the motor/ESC wires. It looks like a stress point but time will tell. You can find spare arms on the net, the mounting holes are the same as the old ZMR. The ZMR250 is a great freestyle frame and at less than $14USD it's frik'n cheap! Highly recommended as an entry level frame, or as a inexpensive fly-it-like-you-stole-it quad!!!

ozvtr Iwouldn't recommend this ESC any more, I've had too many troubles with it. It hasn't blown up but it has done the "flip of death" a couple of times. I would recommend Banggoods Anniversary Special Edition Racerstar REV35. I have bought a few now and none have given me any trouble.The only difference between the two is the anniversary special does not have a 5V regulator but most flight controllers will run straight from VBat.

I have not pushed this speed controller to the max yet, and I may never. To maintain 120A continuously (140A peak?), you would have to be doing some serious speed!!! No problems setting up in BLheli suite. In fact, when you run dshot 600, there isn't much to setup. I am not sure the 30SWG wire is a good idea for the 5V to the flight controller, my OSD flickers and it might be voltage drop over the lite gauge wire? There are supposed to be three 5V lines and three ground lines but there is only one 5V and two grounds for the flight controller. Also the Vbat wire is 30SWG so if you run the camera and VTX from the flight controller's Vbat, you may get voltage drop across the wire. The hand soldering of the battery wires to the board was a bit poor but if you are buying one of these Then you should know what you are doing and re-terminating it shouldn't be a problem. There is no 12V for VTX or camera, only 5V. So you need to run 5V or Vbat equipment (not 12V). One of the few 4-in1 ESC's with a Current sensor.

At 5.2 inch pitch these props will test your motors and batteries. I have no idea how guys are flying these on 22XX 2600-2800KV motors and not have batteries that look like potatoes after a flight?! RcAddict's favorite prop. I am flying these on the Samguk 2306 2300KV motors. They are the only props to run slow enough to stop mid throttle oscillations in my quad. Advantages: massive grip, power and control. Do flips and rolls only a few feet off the ground. Disadvantages: No power increase above 3/4 throttle, just more current consumption. Poor battery run time. Still the same excellent balance and durability you'd expect from the Gemfan flash series of props.

I was hoping the new FS-X8B was going to be a replacement for this receiver. The FS-X8B has RSSI but that's it! No VBAT input and you can't power the receiver over 8.4V. There are hacks on the net for the X6B (this receiver) to display RSSI but you need Ninja soldering skills. I have bought a number of these to put in my quadcopters and I have had no problems with any of them.

The quality of the image in this little lens is quite good however the plastic it is made of is so soft! If you can somehow manage to avoid running into ANYTHING (e.g. leaves, grass and the air) then this lens should do you well. If you are like the rest of us and collide with some form of vegetable matter now and then, well, this lens gets small chips VERY EASILY!

Hmm, funny, this is the original FullSpeed frame that the XJB was copied from. Slightly different so you cant interchange parts. That's OK the frame is cheap enough.

So far the best FlySky micro receiver. That's not saying much. I get RSSI warnings on my Evolution at about 200 metres. That's better than the other FlySky micro receivers, they just fall out of the sky! Yes a FlySky micro with RSSI! No battery telemetry though.

If you own an Elf camera this is about the only lens that will work. It seems to be the same as the one the camera comes with. Foxeer and RunCam lenses do not focus on the imager. It's just as well the lens is cheap because it chips very easily. Mine is in an XJB145 and it cops a lot of punishment.

Q: The TX LED is constantly blinking, is this normal? Reason I ask, I can only get about 20ft range no matter the setting (25,200, or 600mW) anyone have any ideas? the freq. on the VTX and my goggles are matched... but can get no range. Tried it with other goggles, and different antenae... still no difference, SUPER short range. Any help is appreciated!

ozvtr If the bottom LED is blinking it's in "pit mode" (very low power output). You MUST physically press the power button to get it out of pit mode. The OSD smart audio will NOT work (no matter what it says in the OSD) until you manually select a power output.

Q: Sadly, there is very little *helpful* documentation support of the new Rx from Flysky. So how do these hookup and use with SBUS/F4 FCs?? They use the Spektrum connection on the FC? Is that right? How about providing this practical information??

ozvtr This receiver outputs PPM and IBUS and that's all they need to tell you with respect to connecting it to a flight controller. It is unrealistic to expect them to tell you how to connect it to every FC out there! Your flight controller documentation should tell you what ports to use to connect an IBUS receiver. IBUS will run on any spare non-inverting Rx UART pad (e.g. "Spectrum", if it's an older flight controller). Perhaps you should get a flight controller with better documentation??

ozvtr Update:I had one of the motors fail after a very short time. The stator was loose on the mount causing wires to break and one of the phases went open circuit. Also the 2300KV motor power curve flattens out at about 60% meaning it runs out of puff above 60%. Good motor for proximity flying in a quad but forget punch outs...they are just underwhelming!

FOR THE PRICE, the DYS Samguk range of motors are very good. The 2306 2250KV motor is actually labeled 2300KV! I would recommend the 2300KV on a medium to light freestyle frame. They are not powerful enough to run a heavy frame very well. I paired them with the new QAV/ZMR 250 style frame that Banggood sells and it performs quite well on 4S. I ran the Gemfan 5042 Wind Dancers and that gave the best compromise between power, grip, speed and battery life. I ran the Gemfan 5149 props and they had amazing grip and speed but the batteries sagged too quickly. I haven't tried them yet but I'd say the Dal Cyclone 5045's would go just as well. If you are not prepared to be conservative on cheap motors, then don't buy them.
