The Car Radio comes with an All Winner chipset and a very stiff preinstalled launcher. Apps shortcuts cannot be added to the desktop. The Playstore is Kind of lame, Maybe the WLAN Module is weak, it doesn't establish good connections and the rate is low even in good conditions. Attaching an antenna didn't bring much benefit. Good is, that the Radio shows Station names and infos if provided. I installed a 3rd party launcher that is much better configurable, but the original theme always plays into the foreground, it seems that some settings collide or what ever. If i could, i would install a complete slim android without that Default Launcher.

Patrick Hi, the sleepmode can bei configured but the max is 15min then it powers off. It ist was to short if you think about WLAN Updates, donwloading Playlists on Spotify and so on

So far, no detailed reviews so here is mine. Unfortunately I recieved one with a nasty scratch. THIS IS NOT ANDROID 9!!! It's Android 8.1. The good - It's a nice head unit. It's not slow, the screen is decent and it works pretty well on VW group cars, with quadlock connection. - Steering wheel control works and can be programmed to diffrent functions. - GPS signal is good and locks fast. - It seems to have Root acess from factory but i'm not completely sure. - When headlight are on the backlight gets dim and turns on the capacitive button illumination. - No parasitic battery drain. - Comes with a CANBUS box that also works with other car brands. - Microphone seems of good quality, I haven't tested it much. - Fast Bluetooth connection and works nicely. Can control phone music player with steering wheel. - I think the sound quality is pretty good. - Wi-fi works good. - Putting into reverse gear turn on back camera, very fast. Don't have any installed but the screen comes up. - Has a car info app that pops up when a door is open amongst other car information, like speed, battery voltage and more... - I was able to use Android Auto with and without wire and also wi-fi. The bad - It takes ~ 45 secs to boot up. I guess it always powers on and off, never goes to sleep. Maybe is my car fault. - The minimum brightness at night is still a little too much and during the day it's not enough but gets the job done - The unit heats up a lot, especially the PCB. The processor goes to 60 ~ 70ºC. At a later date, I will probably open it and install a fan or some dissipators. - FM radio reception not as good as the original radio even with amplified antenna. - No color LED in buttons, only red. My car has red interior lighting so it's good but others may not like it. - The manual is almost useless. A lot of wrong information and also unnecessary information regarding missing features. - Don't know how to acess the recovery mode. - Screen and the frame will scratch very easy.
