Giving 12V, taking 5V, and drawing these currents from the output, the device temperature was getting at: 2.20A >100°C 1.52A 75.6°C 1.04A 56.6°C Room temperature was at 27°C. This is without any heat sink (and with low heat dissipation through the soldered leads (the amount of which is 4), because I made them not thick). You will keep it in a somewhat better conditions if either the current will not be so high or you'd make a thermal contact of it with some colder plate.

A convenient thingy. For now I made only simplest tests and can't say more about it. All three things - "Value for Price", "Quality", "Appearance" (convenience) are not the best, but I don't want to put 4 stars to each of them, thus I just randomly marked something of it with 4 stars. Oh, well, first I told that it is convenient, now that it not completely is. Lets then explain: the number of buttons is just 4, while there is no reason to diminish (cut?) their number to that minimalized amount on a device of such size. The convenient thing is the size of device. My overall rate would be like 4.5-4.7. Удобная вещичка. Я её мало опробовал, и не имею что добавить. Даю общую оценку на 4.5-4.7.
