mgwerner my module draws 4mA (relay off) and 26mA relay ON. SO: I guess a small 9V battery - the one used in smoke detectors - have about 500mAH capacity. IF always ON, battery is empty after about 20 hours If on half the time, 50%, empty after about 40 hours, 1.5 days on 25%, empty after 3days and so on either use a big lead battery with charging every few months, or if you switch mains anyway, a 12V power supply

mgwerner this is PIEZO!!! google around, piezo is special, all have about 55ohm and die when voltage! is higher than about 25V!
