This power supply is unsuitable for a Raspberry Pi despite it being advertised for use with it. The power supply is evidently not powerful enough or has too much ripple on the DC output to cope with running the Pi. An Apple power supply for an iPad rated at 2.5 amps does the job perfectly but when this unit is used the display either does not appear or if it does it is shaky and pixilated. Sorry Banggood, most of your products are great and good value but more R & D required for this one so I do not recommend anyone buys this for now.

This is a great product and will give me greater control of my heating system. Intuitive to use and shows the time and temp all the time not just when you press the button. Only problem is after 1 hour of usage it now trips the earth leakage breaker when the load is installed. I assume this is a one off fault and will be overcome by a replacement product.
