Q: can I use 24v/ 9A ?

zapytał BG235101033 na 2021-09-27 06:43:11

dougwoodrow Hi, yes that should be okay. This amplifier needs a power supply that has a voltage between 12 and 24 volts, and it will attempt to draw up to 5 amps of current depending on the type of speaker and the volume setting. So the voltage of the supply must not be higher than 24 volts, but it does not matter if the power supply is *capable* of providing more than the needed current, the amplifier will only draw what it needs. If the supply can only provide a *lower* current it will probably sound bad, because the amplifier will not be able to draw the current it needs.

dougwoodrow Probably. But are you really sure it can deliver 18 amps? That is a LOT of current! In theory that shouldn't be a problem, the amplifier should only draw the current it needs. But if something goes wrong there is a danger the amplifier could try to draw too much current and 18 amps would be enough to destroy it.

dougwoodrow The barrel connector plug I'm using fits nicely. It has an outer diameter of 5.5mm and the inner spring inside the connector closes to 2.1mm and opens to 2.5mm. I suspect the pin inside the socket on the amplifier is 2.1mm in diameter.

dougwoodrow The specs say the amp will take up to 24V at 5A, so your PSU sounds well suited. So far I've only tested a 12V 1A PSU, it produces a perfectly decent volume into 4 ohm speakers in an average size room.

dougwoodrow 1) Go to the Android Play Store, search for "oximeter-h" app, and install it. 2) Turn on Bluetooth on your phone 3) Stick your finger in the the oximeter 4) Run the Oximeter-h app, and connect to the oximeter device (mine was called "J2")

Q: Is not measuring negative celcius degrees? Only for indoor use?

dougwoodrow I've had one inside my kitchen freezer for a week now, and the recorded temperature has fluctuated between -16 and -21 degrees Celsius, so I think it works well below freezing. Update: After 8 days in the freezer at -19C it stopped communicating. Took the battery out and it started up again fine when battery re-inserted.

dougwoodrow Sayingsomething "didn't work" is not very helpful. Do you mean when you plugged it into your Windows 10 computer the device was not recognised at all?
