Q: Will it work on Anet A8 with Marlin firmware?

zapytał sabah na 2021-11-02 04:59:03

Gypo Sorry don't know about the A8 as I don't know what main board you have in there but I have had it working with Marlin with several different main boards from BIGTREETECH® SKR Mini E3, Makerbase MKS SGen_L V2.0 and several Creality boards. I believe that if you have a TFT screen working with your system now then its going to work with it. It certainly works with Marlin!

Q: does this work with ender 5 pro

zapytał BG485538152 na 2021-05-09 09:12:18

Gypo HiI have an Ender 3 Pro and so I can only answer some of the question, but you can check easily the rest. The display works with most stock 3D printers and upgrade motherboards and it will work with your printer (Ender 5 Pro) in the same way the original display does, a 'Text' display. To do that all you need to do is unplug your existing display cable from the display and plug it into this display (into port 3 on the display I think, it will not do any harm if you have it in the wrong port). To use the Touch screen function with a graphical display you need to have a 4 or 5 pin TFT port on the printers motherboard. If you do have a TFT port you need a 5 way cable from the display to the motherboards TFT port. Some motherboards only have a 4 pin TFT port, in that case it will not have a reset (RST) pin on the TFT port. You need to plug the RST wire of the TFT cable onto a RST pin somewhere else on the motherboard, they usually have one somewhere if there isn’t one in the TFT port.I hope that helps. From what I have seen this one works with almost all motherboards and a lot of other displays other than being a different make and size seem to copy this one.

Q: Does this fit the original Creality CR-10 for a Z-axis upgrade?

zapytał CrispyDuck na 2021-03-22 05:46:54

Gypo I bought this to upgrade my Ender 3 to a dual Z axis, and it is perfect for that. As it is described for a CR10 I bet it will be perfect for that too. You have to make sure you get the right trapezoidal screws for it though as many sold online have the mounting screw holes in the wrong place. Search for something like, 'Brass T8 Lead Screw Nut Pitch 2mm' with the mounting holes centers at 16mm (most sold have them at 18mm) so cheese carefully. Don't buy the round Lead Screw Nuts as they don't fit.

Q: Can it be used on Two Trees Bluer?

zapytał BG018505541 na 2020-09-22 09:37:32

Gypo I don't have one of those 3D printers, I have an ender 3 pro which is very similar to that one. I have looked at one online and it looks like it should. There are a couple of things you should check first though. 1, As the leadscrew mount attaches to the 2020 extrusion at the top of the printer the leadscrew needs to go all the way to the top of the printer otherwise the leadscrew might not reach the leadscrew mount. The one I looked at online looks like it might be lower than the top of the 2020 extrusion so check! 2, The Z stepper motor needs to be touching the 2040 upright extrusion otherwise the mount and the stepper motor would be holding the leadscrew at different distances from the 2040 upright extrusion. The one I looked at online looks like it is mounted against the 2040 extrusion, but check. The mounting holes in the leadscrew mount are to wide apart to mount it on the 2040 upright extrusion so it must be mounted on the 2020 extrusion at the top of the printer.
