Q: Lenovo L490 supported?

BG223652232 Ifound out it shall work with Intel boards. I put it in my HP Gaming Laptop 15-dk0009ng and it works just fine even though in the discription of the adapter was told it works not with HP Laptops.

I wanted it for replacement of the problematic RTL8822BE Realtek WiFi Adapter in my HP Gaming Pavilion 15-dk0009ng notebook. Some description say it is not suitable for HP Notebooks. But it also say it requires Windows 10 64Bit and an Intel Motherboard. So, this is what I have and I thought to give it a chance. So I ordered it, and it came surprisingly fast. I installed the new drivers for WiFi and Blutooth which I downloaded directly from the Intel page, removed existing Realtek drivers, opened the notebook and replace the adapter. After reboot everything was fine, BT and WiFi working fine, and now even with better specifications. No WiFi disconnection and related frustration experiences since then. Very glad I took this step.
