Arries2 Yes you need a ESC as it controls the motor.. Its brushless not brushed.. So you definitely need a ESC to control the motor..

Arries2 Not sure on kilo watts.. But can tell you its pretty powerful.. Installed mine in 7th scale jet ski rc and its a rocket...

Arries2 The one i have definitely does not have enough power to push a stream 2.5m.. This is more just to get water flow through the motor or esc to help with cooling..

Arries2 Nozzle at the back can be used for cooling of your motor and ESC.. Nozzle just after the motor is to apply grease for the shaft..
