Flow sensor works well. the formula for claculating the flow rate is F=(8.1Q-5)+- 10% Not a terribly usefull formula, a better one can be rewritten as: q=(1000 + 5*t)/486 q = ml per tick t = interval between ticks in milliseconds with very low flow rates the formula breaks down Accuracy limit is around 3 hz so if q > 6 set it at 6 if(q>6) q=6

pc9geek For example if the last pulse was received 100ms ago then (1000 5*100)/486 or 3.086 ml of fluid passed in that time If the last pulse was 400ms ago then (1000 5x400)/486 is 6.17 which is below the limit of accuracy so just use 6ml. Using this technique the quantities measured are very accurate

It looks good and works fine, but it would be great if you could give the pulse/liter constant otherwise it's just a flow switch and not a flow meter.
