I received my Cyclops 3 DVR-Cam with great expectations because of the high ratings it received. Problem #1 was the lack of instructions. Banggood should require their suppliers to use Chinese-AMERICANS to write the instructions on all their products!!! The problem is, with this purchase, there was a small foldout "instruction" sheet which said absolutely nothing. Nothing was explained. What about the yellow wire? After searches on YouTube, I discovered that the yellow wire was for video, BUT WHERE DOES IT GO? I assumed the red and black wires were for 5 volts DC power. #2 WHERE WAS THE MINI SD card? It was not offered as an additional accessory, but at last I found a source for the SD card (mini-micro). When I applied power to the camera, it was very, very warm. IT DID NOT WORK. I have never ordered ANYTHING from Banggood that had directions worth the paper they were printed on. Here is what the typical "directions" read like: "You be happy with purchase. You make Banggood go ha ha when money you send us. The instruction book receive you will make you ha ha also. Banggood ha ha and you ha ha. We all ha ha. Sorry if instruction no you read. Perhaps you no ha ha ever again. I don't plan to order anything from Banggood again until they require their suppliers to include step-by-step instructions written by Americans for Americans. By the way, this purchase no make me ha ha. You may ha ha, but I no ha ha.

I've had this for a few weeks now and can recommend them. I was worried that it wouldn't hold up, but so far so good. It holds enough coffee to make a decent cuppa, however I find that I have to use plunger grind not espresso grind. They're fiddly to clean up, but that's to be expected given you are emptying the used grinds out of it.

I bought two watches - one with a brown strap and one with a black. They are both great looking watches. I don't normally like gold, but they are more of a rose gold, which isn't too bad. Not only do they look good, but they actually keep time!

I fit my Runcam Split into the case just fine, but two of the 4 screw mounts broke off inside with very little pressure being put on them. I think this is due to the type of plastic used - it's very stiff and I suspect, also fragile. Will it hold up to crashing whilst being mounted to the top of my long range quad? Who knows. At least being a LR rig, it won't be thrashed like it would my acro rig.

These are going to provide great accent lighting for my living room. Unfortunately, when they arrived there was some damage to the strip. Not enough damage to stop it working, but the strip was all creased which I think it going to make it difficult to stick to my wall without some adhesive help.

Although the little documentation card that comes with the light specifies that the bulb only works with 120V (which gave me a fright), rest assured that these bulbs work with 240V (NZ and Aus). the Xiaomi smart ecosystem just works. As soon as you turn on the bulb and open the app, the bulb is discovered and you can join it to your network. No phaffing about. Also, if you are running Home Assistant, it is automatically detected - the only caveat being that unlike the automation hub etc, you have to download another app (Yeelight app) and enable LAN automation to get the bulb to actually work with HA. The setup in the app is really simple though. At this stage no direct support by Google Home.

I got this to allow me to automatically turn on / off my heater via the Xiaomi hub. The entire Xiaomi ecosystem works well and this is no exception.

I recently wasted $35 worth of points on a Sonoff bridge "security system". It wasn't even worth $3.50. So, trust me when I say that the Xiaomi security system is worth the money. Actually it's worth more than it costs. Not only are each of the individual components all separately configurable in multiple ways, to do a multitude of different tasks, but as it turns out the main task of being a security system are already set to go out of the box. You can customise this configuration if you like - I did, by setting a delay when arming the system, and changing how it is armed. Additionally you can integrate the entire system into your Home Assistant home automation setup and can then voice control some of the components using your Google Home (and presumably Alexa) even though this hasn't actually been rolled out by Xiaomi yet. If you think you want this, don't hesitate, it's worth it.

DoubleQuad I got one of these and found that the sBus pins actually tie up UART1. That leaves 2 and 6 but also you can enable softserial to create another UART (pads are tiny little things on the board itself).

Its seems that this board is not well supported by iNAV. I have not managed to get it working and the people who have say that the SBUS must used on UART 6, and that kicks the GPS onto UART3. See iNav issue #2576. At this point it seems to require a special firmware build to work at all.

On paper this FC has a lot going for it. However it has some issues that need addressing. The most glaring is that the package does NOT come with the wiring for the connectors on the board. I mean, really, WTF? If this was your first FC or you weren't the kind of person to keep a pile of different kinds of plugs you would be well and truly shafted. Luckily for me I do, but even then I was lucky because I didn't have the exact plug I needed, but I two that were close, so I shaved them down and managed to squeeze them in to the socket. Another issue is that whilst the FC has dedicated SBUS pins, using them actually ties up UART1, so in reality you only two have 2 free UARTs unless you enable softserial. The upside is that the FC has an onboard baro which is great for use with iNav, and current monitoring (which I don't use). Unless you already have the correct plugs for connectors on this board, I'd skip it and go to something else, like the BFF4.

Even though I didn't actually pay for mine, I will say that this package is not worth the money. On face value the promise of this being a cheap entry into a home security system is correct, but there are some issues that negate that promise. The biggest issue is that other than going into the app there is no way to turn on / off the notifications from the sensors. You can't put them on a schedule, or turn them off with voice controls via Google Home. So this means that if you leave the notifications on whilst you are at home, you get one pretty every time you move. Or of course if you have them turned off, you have to remember to go into the app and turn them on when you leave the house. I'm not sure if adding an actual remote to the system would solve the issue, but I'm hoping it would. Another less important issue is that the door / window sensor only triggers on open. Once its closed again it does not alert you. This isn't a real issue but worth noting. The system was easy enough to set up, so that's a plus.

Having previously bought a couple of strands of programmable LEDs but not really knowing what to do with them, other than use them for Xmas lighting, I was excited to discover this little WiFi plug. Using this plug I was able to not only add my LEDs to my home automation solution, allowing voice controlled on / off / colours / dimming, but it also introduces some cool new features using the app. The feature that I like the most is the music mode - turn this on and your LEDs will flash and change colour / brightness to the music (the audio is picked up by your phone's mic). Pairing the WiFi dongle to my hone network was quick and painless, as was adding the device to my Google Home device list. Highly recommended.

I've had this for a little while now and can finally do my review. Overall I really like this Vtx, especially for the money. Adjustable power levels / smart audio / stackable - what's not to like? The two issues I've had are: 1) The provided pigtail was slightly too short for my frame. This meant that when I fitted my antenna into the frame, the connection to the threaded part broke without me realising and I was getting bad reception. Once I figured this out and fixed the antenna it improved. But I ended up replacing the pigtail with a longer one. 2) Every now and again I get REALLY bad interference which seems to be coming from the MMCX connector. This first occurred after a landing (don't most things!), but it seems that if I unplug the pigtail then plug it firmly back in, the interference disappears (until the next heavy crash). Other than that, well worth the money.

When I bought my first one I wasn't sure what to use it for, so it got used to control my LiPo charger. However once I got into home automation, with my Google Home, I finally put it to good use, controlling a side light in my living room. I had another side light the same, so bought another S20 to control it. These just work.

These bulbs slotted into my smart home with zero issues. They are full automatable with GH - colours and brightness levels. Also, using the app you can set schedules and scenes. Not the brightest of bulbs but tested by me and found to be ~50% brighter than the 7W bulb that I bought.

This is a replacement for an older TV box I had that mysteriously died in its sleep one night. And that was a replacement for the same model that I bought and killed by plugging the wrong AC adaptor into it. So, since this was 3rd unit I wasn't keen on spending a lot of money. I run a Plex server and watch plenty of YT. so all I needed was a box to do those 2 things. This box does those, no problems at all.

The pigtail that came on my Vtx was too short to reach were I needed it to go, so I ended up breaking it. This is an excellent replacement as it is longer plus the length of the thread on the antenna connector is quite long which allows me to push it through my TPU antenna mount and still have the antenna screw on tightly. Well worth the money.
