Q: Is it possible to power board from the 5V pin on the board?

iot4all One of these had the tiny 0 ohm resistor in wrong position (to use the external WiFi), so the PCB antenna was not in use. Un-usable device if distance to router is more than 10 meters or there is a wall between.So the quality differs board by board.

nevlinmanicum Yes, however the current supplied will be of a low magnitude. Likely in the 100mA range at best.
