For supported protocols visit DeviationTX firmware site. Original Jumper T8SG Plus (V2) worked perfectly with FrSky receivers (XM etc.). As this TX has four RF chips as well as CC2500 (as in FrSky radios), so the only question is firmware.

This plane is really fast and agile. The canopy snaps on and off, there is a bright red LED in the rear exhaust and an adjustable belly mount for a camera located on the chin. This is more than just a scaled down 520. For the price, the speed and overall performance along with VTOL flight make this the best overall value for a RTF winged aircraft. I gave the quality 3 stars because of the transmitter. It's the only thing holding this package back. You have to use one of the trim buttons to launch and when I went to land, I held the same button down thinking it would gradually land itself and it instead cut power completely and it dropped 25 feet out of the air and broke off the nose. This was while it was in vertical mode. If you want to land in vertical mode its better to move the throttle to about 40% and set it down yourself. The X8 transmitter will not bind to this plane. Also the battery bay is too small and it's a hassle to stuff the battery and wires in and close the hatch. I can cut out some foam to give it more room but I think this could have been easily addressed before it went into production. Overall I think this is a very capable aircraft but it will take even experienced pilots some practice and a little luck to get the hang of the controls without crashing it. The pictures below show it's size in relation to the 520 and the F949 along with a FPV mod I put in.
