This is a pleasant wind chime. When it arrived, the string that it hangs from came untied, I was able to tie it again easily and I love the music it makes in the breeze.

The item arrived quicker than I expected. The packaging was good and it is a good-looking device. However the 48-volt power supply adapter did not work (voltage output was near zero), and rattled when it was shaken. I opened the adapter and found that a coil had not been soldered to the circuit board and was loose inside the plastic housing. The circuit board was well-labeled and I soldered it into it's proper place. I also re-soldered a couple of "cold" solder joints. When I tried it again after making the repair, it worked and the Tesla coil operates as described. The spark is bright yet safe to touch. The music mode plays via bluetooth, and the sparks' intensity matches the music. The sound is very buzzy, like heavy static. I suspect that some songs will sound better than others, as the crackling and buzzing noises drown out some of the subtle nuance of the music. Still, it's a great conversation piece and a demonstration of Nicolai Tesla's idea (which was to transmit power to consumers without needing wires.)

Incredibly thin, lightweight, fits in backpack with notebooks. Has variable brightness, easy to use. If you need a lightpad, this one is recommended. Good for tracing drawings or viewing photographic negatives.
