Flyercan Yeah, not even close. False claims. Mine had around 900mAh. :(

Q: are these using ni-mh or li-ion battery? specs only said 2200ma

zapytał gtvtrueno na 2019-11-01 15:41:47

Flyercan I charged a dead battery from one and it got to 1200mAh, not 2200mAh. It is an 18650 3.7v Lithium Battery

Flyercan No,thisdoesn't have a lithium battery as it states in the description. A 3 cell NiMh. That being said, I doubt it will light for 6hrs straight or it have any where near 50watts of light. Not even sure it will fully charge the 3 cells in a day of sunlight and like Brocak said I am pretty sure it has no waterproof capabilities.. If I had my time back I would not have ordered these knowing this. UPDATE: It will run for more than 6hrs on a solar charge of a couple of days. Not sure yet if it needs to be in the sun that long, but it does stay lite for more than 7hrs on the low setting.

Flyercan I have many of these kinds of lights in eastern Quebec and they all work great. Even at -20°c. Not sure about any colder, but I doubt it would be an issue. This particular light is giving me issues. First 2 I had would not charge the battery. The replacements keep turning on without motion, killing the battery way before the night is over.
