Q: what is the maximum safe rating for a 2s lipo battery for this? i have some 8000 milliamp 100c batteries but i am worried the esc and motor won't handle them.

Akis I wouldnt do this. The car is very fast already. You should do other upgrades (to improve stability) before u do this.
