Does exactly what it should. It is important to use this with a decent power supply unit, otherwise the sound suffers a lot. Something to keep in mind is, that its not only about the max. current the power supply can deliver, but also about how much stability it gives. I use an old gaming laptops power brick (19.5V, 3.5A) which works perfectly. The connectors on the back are quite shabby, but they are good enough to test around a bit before permanently wiring it.
