Banggood sells some great flashlights. Brighter, cheaper and smaller than this one. This one isn't close to 8000 lumens. Potentially if you add up the output of the LED's it may be, but light cannot be added that way. For example 4X100W bulbs side by side is still only 100 W of light but 400W of consumption. This flashlight is OK, its great for walking the dog at night. But there are better for 1/4 the money, which only need 2 batteries, which are brighter and focus-able. I would not recommend this to anyone for any purpose except maybe as a substitute headlamp taped on to a bike or car in an emergency as its more of a wash light than a spot. And again, has no focus. I would return it if I could.
