Well built filter and the light transmission changes based on the rotation of the upper half and lower half pieces. It is smooth to rotate and threads well onto eyepieces. I was able to view the moon and adjust the brightness by rotating the filter. The transmission varies from 40% to 1%. Definitely reduces the strain/glare on the eye and is recommended when trying to view the the moon based on the brightness. As always international tracking can be improved. Thanks to Banggood for shipping the product even in tough times in a timely way.
