I've bought it for stepping up from 3.7V (18650 battery) to 5V, for powering up Eachine Pro50 diversity module + Eachine ProDVR. First I've purchased cheap 3v->5v module (price is less than 1€), but realized it outputs non-filtered 5V, which was totally fine for diversity module, but DVR resulted with massive white-stripes noise on video output (and on recored videos). Unfortunately low-esr capacitor didn't help to reduce such noise. Therefore I decided to buy more expensive Matek step-up regulator. And now I'm satisfied. For sample of output, please compare videos recorded with cheap step-up module, versus expensive Matek one.
