This was exactly what i needed to get rid of my home telephone line that nobody uses anymore because of mobile phones. We only had a regular phone line because alarm equipment purposes. With this GSM gateway we save much money, because we could replace regular phone subscription with a prepaid subscription free sim-card. I just turned off pin-code on the sim-card by using a phone, and then put the sim-card in this GSM gateway. The date/year/clock was automatically adjusted by the GSM network. Nice external antenna with long cable give very good signal strength, but we are living near a base-station. Does not have to do anything with the configuration to meet my needs. The display show the number of the caller. When in standby it shows the date, signal strength and power-status. Nice product, and if you need a GSM to analog PSTN line, just buy this one! Wygląda dobrze, że nie było zasilania w pudełku, ale wtyczka kontra. Ręcznik bardzo niejasny. Wyświetla źle odczytany bez światła wstecznego. Ustawienie oświetlenia tła na kolor czerwony/niebieski/zielony, ale niestety również nie. Bateryjne wsparcie również nie jest obecne. Nie można nawet dostać się do środka, nie ma zaworu ani miejsca na niego. Ale pomimo tego pracuje dobrze. Identyfikator rozmówcy również działa dobrze, na poprzedni nie.

Ziet er goed uit wel jammer dat er geen voeding in de doos zat,wel een contra stekker. Handleiding heel onduidelijk .display slecht te lezen zonder achtergrond verlichting. Zou de achtergrond verlichting op kleur rood/blauw/groen zetten maar helaas ook niet. Batterij backup is ook niet aanwezig.kan er ook niet eens in, geen klep of ruimte er voor. Maar ondanks dat werk hij goed. Caller id werk ook goed,bij de vorige niet.

The terminal is made of grey plastic and feels quite light, but the built quality is ok. Luckily set up is a breeze - one just needs to plug the SIM card in, and the terminal does the rest. The included English manual seems to be somewhat incomplete - for instance, it doesn't say a single word about the "Key" button that can be seen in the pictures. Therefore, until now, I have no clue what is for. Also, I couldn't figure out how to get the multicolor backlight display (e.g. blue, green) to work. In fact, there seems to be no backlight for the display at all which is not an issue for me.
