It's a simple, but smart robot. If he gets something for him then he turns, he goes on. Put it in the top of a cardboard box.

Everything came in exactly ads described and no damages. This is a cool toy for young builders, teaching them how the obstacle avoidance works and operates it takes about 30 minutes to build. Works really well does not seem to have any bugs or glitches. The instructions are in Chinese but the pictures are clear enough to help understand how to build it. Price is so worth it and the overall quality is pretty strong, it is small though but very fun to play with once assembled. Very easy DIY Buy It!!

I bought ten of these and helped a group of 9-year-olds assemble them. The exercise was a success, but not perfect. Positives: * Good value for the price; cheap enough to give away as party favors * The cup + eyes actually offered enough flexibility for each kid to be able to personalize their robot. One child put the two eyes vertically instead of horizontally; many others opted for the "cyclops" look. * Each one worked; no missing or broken pieces in the kits * No soldering was necessary * Assembly was straightforward, even with Chinese-only instructions Negatives: * This is is no way a "line-following" or "obstacle avoidance" robot. The drive wheels are attached to a differential that randomly (chaotically?) switches between moving "forward" and turning. It's amusing, but don't expect any sort of deliberate behavior. The kids were a little frustrated when we tried a "robot race." * The alligator clips were difficult to operate: the plastic coverings were too slippery for little (or adult) hands to effectively grip to open * Many of the little yellow paper cups had been partially crushed in transit * No AA battery was included; these need to be bought separately * Since all major joints were made with double-sided foam, these are not likely to hold together well over time. For our application, this was fine, however.

It is working and very easy to assemble but in reality it doesn't avoid obstacles it will just turn continuously.
