I am a gadge,t nut so of course I had to have this one but I still haven't figured out what exactly it does. I have tested it with all kinds of devices and it has not detected a single one of them. I read the directions over and over to make sure I was doing it right but ... No, I would not recommend item. IThe price was good so I'll re cycle it into something else. No big loss.

Absolute bargain. Instructions require a sober person to translate, but this represents sensational value for money. Needed a new battery prior to operation, but Im not going to knock stars off for that. It cost me under ten bucks and revealed a camera hidden in the ir reciever plastic pad on an aircon unit in the bedroom of my own house, for that I would have paid $5000. Thank you banggood.

If you have a lot of electronics in the room you're checking (computers, TVs, etc.) the long range setting will likely go off. The short range setting is better in that situation. The label with the buttons is just paper, so the appearance isn't the best, but it works. Nice value for the price.
