Needed it for Webradio project (Karadio). Upload needs to be done DIO otherwise software don't work. Took me a few days of research to discover this. Other ESP-12F labeled "AI-THINKER" accept QIO without problem.

I have bought 10 pieces. I have tested some of them. It worked. The flash chip inside is a GigaDevice 4MB type.

Ordered 5, all worked very fine when soldered to ESP8266 Module Adapter Plate. Same specs with ESP-12.
