I mounted these on my QAV-R 220 frame with motor guards. I used 10mm screws and had no issues. If you arent using motor guards then 8mm should be plenty. Wiring them was straight forward although running all the wires and keeping it neat was a project in itself! All said and done, they look great and programmed very easily in cleanflight. I did notice a little issue when I ran a 4s battery but thats because the 5v BEC were putting out a slightly higher voltage than the signal lines require but no problems on 3s and if you add a diode to the signal line you should be fine on 4s! They've had a few crash landings but it doesnt seem to faze them at all! All in all, Im glad I bought them and I love the uniqueness it gives by quad!

Overall I'm satisfied with these, however one of the 4 I bought was a little finicky. The switch's contacts weren't always working correctly. I would recommend ordering a spare. Nice and bright.
