This is a great little LCD. The pixel density is superb and it works well. Unfortunately it has a MAJOR flaw: If you accidentally leave the HDMI disconnected it will apply a DC bias to the LCD ruining it permanently (1 day so far waiting for it to recover). My screen now appears grey / white with the odd stripe appearing. Completely useless :( Value 1 star (I got 30 minutes use for £27). Quality 1 star (can't hold up to normal usage).

Banggood Dear customer, Yes, please do not turn off the HDMI!!! If you turn off the HDMI , that the screen will be no signal. If no signal, your screen will appear grey / white, that is a simple ture! If you do not need the signal, why you buy this screen? Have a nice day: ) Best regards

He didn't say that, He says that disconnection was accidentally, once connected again the screen should work fine but it didn't worked , He never said that He wouldn't needing the hdmi input. Your answer was wrong and unfair.

jimaiwr wtf yeah guys don\'t buy it. If there is no hdmi signal (eg not supported res or device shuts off) then the whole thing kills itself .... HUGE design flaw wtf wasted my money
