This is upgraded board. Comparing to previous version, it is a bit longer, have more pins, and newer Rev. 1 chip. While great board, ESP32 is still a bit of a bleeding edge. If you need with better support and lot of libraries, you should choose esp8266: http://bit.ly/2F2ATFV

This is successor of highly praised AN8008 multimeter. Compared to previous version I think only difference is addition of thermocouple probe. Overall this is really great hobby multimeters, and tremendous value for money. Only thing you might want to improve on it is to get better probes: http://bit.ly/2F4JaJs
