I have installed this remote as a substitute to my garage door opener where the remote was lost - at 1/5th the cost of a new remote controller! I feed it with 24V and the electronics tolerates it - however generally I wouldn't recommend anyone to do so, the relais is of 12V type, but I just activate them for a short while and without a load. The remote is a standard 433 MHz fixed code remote, the code could be cloned easily. Range is about 40m from the garden and about 15m inside the house (though concrete basement ceiling!!!) I recommend this product highly, I'm just going to buy another one. :)

I really wanted an autoranging multimeter, and this device seemed like a good choice - and indeed it was a great deal! It came in a plain white box with no special markings, without batteries. (2xAAA needed) Pros: Solid build, autoranging feature, frequency measurement, temperature measuring lead, compact size. Cons; A bit slow until finding the correct range, backlight shuts down automatically in about 15 secs.

Excellent power, very good price. It's very useful that it has a key to lock, so that the children won't blind each other - I guess it would do the job in seconds. Although I couldn't light a match as advertised, still very cool and can be used to point objects or the night sky.

doggyfreestart No, the radio part is not compatible, it will work only with this receiver unit. For the key you'll probably need an immo chip.
