The item I received seams defective. Doesn't start and when I connect it to 5V it gets very very hot.

Wessel Schaart Bad voltage regulator?I've had bad experiences with those things...

+ fast delivery - bad package, comes with broken pin, so I must change it - I2C address is 0x3C and not as it is noted ob silkscreen - for me does not work with libraries with support to reset + it works perfect with U8g2lib, constructor U8G2_SH1106_128X64_NONAME_F_HW_I2C u8g2(U8G2_R0, /* reset=*/ U8X8_PIN_NONE) and U8×8LIB with constructor U8X8_SH1106_128X64_NONAME_HW_I2C u8x8(/* reset=*/ U8X8_PIN_NONE) - but it works only for a 2 or 3 hours, then suddenly died in front of my eyes. Even I2C_Scanner does not found it anymore

Wessel Schaart Seems like an internal short, if that's the case, they will probably get hot...

I bought these for my fat shark goggle battery case and got to use them twice before both of them showed as 0 volts and will not come back to life . I also noticed that they ran done a lot quicker than the efest cells I had in my last goggle case . Normally I would get a good few hours out flying and recording DVR but these were draining a lot in 6 to 7 flights . The 3rd charge looked as normal but when I came back to the charger 5 minutes later both cells had stopped charging and showed 0 volts . Perhaps I got a bad pair but I will not be buying cheap 18650s again . Also I did also notice that as they have the positive terminal sticking out they can be quite tight to fit in to devices

The kit has some great components, which are a lot of fun to experiment with. But it isn't perfect... Of course you need to learn to code, but that one is ovious. But the problems with it are: The arduino isn't 100% reliable, at first, my computer couldn't recognise it, and it got in some sort of resetting routine for no reason, to work flawlesly again after about an hour. And the kit is missing transistors, which are MANDATORY IF YOU WANT TO USE THE BUZZERs OR TO MULTIPLEX THE DOT MATRIX DISPLAY!!! At least without trashing the arduino (I know this, so I haven't destroyed mine)... And at last, the breadboard isn't the best quality, so it can be difficult to insert components and they like to swiffle in the port. But that isn't a big deal.

As you've probably read in the other reviews, some markings are missing. But besides that, they are just nozzles that fit on a E3D hotend.

This one arrived damaged, but the Banggood helpdesk was really helpfull, and they've send me a new one. The replacement works fine, and is a lot of fun to use. That one had a broken screen (last number doesn't show up on the screen), but that part was fine on this one... I was able to get this one up and running, by buying an overpriced spare, and swapping some parts with the new one (some parts of this one didn't like the spare, but worked fine with the new one) So after all this trouble, I was able to get them both running, and if you like to tinker a bit, these are great... But if you just want to get something that works out of the box, try something else...

Wessel Schaart That ERR message means that one or more of the wires to the nozzle module don't make a good connection.Try wiggling them around or resolder all the connections, check for continuity between the two outer and inner wires, because if that isn't the case, the nozzle is broken.

the two 3D pens bought as a Christmas present don't work out of the box. This is outrageous!!!! As soon as they are turned on, both pens display "err", the red LED flashes and nothing can be done about it. It's really bad equipment. https://youtu.be/7wxWzrJdbPU

Wessel Schaart The description says that the smd-components, which are diffidult to solder, have been soldered, and not that everything is soldered, because it's a kit...

Both the text and the youtube film sugest this product is soldered and only some assembly has to be done. THIS IS NOT THE CASE.. Three smd chips and a bunch of resistors are soldered. The vast majority of the components is NOT SOLDERED. Agreed, (only) one of the pictures shows all components unsoldered, but I thought that was only to show what it was made of. I hope I can get it to work without screwing it up but it seems above my techniscal skills. I'm not happy with this. Maybe it is a good product (cannot tell any time soon), but I ask the seller to be more honest about what exactly the buyer gets.

The parts differentiate between the single units, but as a whole, it just work great. They keep the voltage nice and stable, can handle a lot of current for they size, and between you and me, those big solder pads are also a big plus ;-)

The wire is thin, it's second layer of insulation is even thinner, and it's core is really small. Those cores don't twist together as usual, and won't stay in a screw terminal, and really like to split apart, and then don't get back, whatever you do. AND THEY'VE CHEATED WITH THE SHAPE OF THE (European) PLUG!!! In the end, it works fine for what I need, but they are not great...

It just works, but the tab to solder to for the inner core is really thin, and those plastic covers, YUCK... The strain-releave breaks rather than protecting the wires, and the way they screw on, you have to feel it in person if you want to understand what makes it so bad. But they do work, and once the wires are on, they work anyways.

Only the male one's are sometimes slightly bent, which only looks strange, and those ANNOYING green connectors which work great in theory, but are actually more anoying than they should be... For me anyway... They do feel like quality, except from those screw terminals...

What you would expect, a nice, silent, powerfull little fan which has a different sticker on the back than shown on the pictures and a wire which keeps popping loose from it's little indent.

The power supply is good, but mine arrived with a bend corner. Which isn't a big deal at all. Also, the terminals were slightly skewed, looking from the top, which doens't affect the function, but makes clear how great the quality control is... Other than that, triple points for the already tuned output voltage!
