jverive Yes, you can drill the holes out with most HSS or harder bits. I use both titanium and cobalt coated bits for longer bit life.

jverive Frequency is likely to be fixed at 50Hz for a 220V-rated inverter.

jverive The 40A fuses are going to be for the 4000W unit, which is only rated for 2000W continuous power. 4000W is a peak rating, usually limited to no more than a few seconds. Sometimes the rating applies only to a limited number of cycles, well under a second. I would expect the 6000W (3000W continuous) unit to use a total fuse rating of 250A.

jverive TTL refers to the voltage levels for ON and OFF, and is the standard voltage level specification for laser diode PWM controllers. This laser assembly should work with almost every controller that uses PWM for laser diode output control.

jverive It can be opened by pulling on the metal shroud surrounding the USB pins (this is a friction fit, so it can take a lot of force to pull it apart). Once you get the shrouded circuit board pulled out, you can peel away the shroud - it separates at the zig-zagged seam. The circuit board is held in place with a small piece of sticky foam. There are 6 plated-through holes corresponding to D14 (MISO), D16 (MOSI), D15 (SCLK), _RESET, GND, and Vcc. Note that these pins also correlate to the ICSP pins on the Arduino Leonardo (on which the design is based), and they are also the default SPI pins for the Leonardo. Finally, the LED is accessible as D13. Finally, the LED is accessible as D13.
