button on top came off during shipping and does not fit back on. made out of cheap material. do not recommend

it's okay. when one compares it to the other electronic calipers one can overlook the fact that it's completely plastic and a tad bent and one has to put a rubberband on it so it will not move and turn on and run down the battery (which there was a spare battery with mine) being it was about six dollars total. I would not be happy if I had paid over ten dollars. It's perfect for my purposes.
