This product is of inferior quality: the LDO voltage regulator doesn't meet requirements: only 150mA instead of 300mA. This is making the WiFi not work correctly. do not buy this product!

The esp-12F devkit arrived and is working fine. I have tested with Arduino IDE and it's fine. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a schematic or pinout diagram for this version (V4).

The I2C adapter board is not soldered on correctly: it is touching one of the display cover support tongues. I will have to correct this! Shame on the manufacturer but is to be expected of Chinese products.
