Q: how do you reset this device to default

Eleccity asfar as I know, there is no reset button, but all of the default values are in the manual. You can go through them one by one and change it back. This is not the route you were hoping for but I don't see another way. If I find one, I will let you know.

JanvanGraan It seems to be switched off, and when it receive a signal via lan it starts running the loop, you can then trigger sleep. I am testing and will post full results

Eleccity TheHz is only the speed, if you set it at 50HZ it will turn slower than at 60Hz. I don't really get your question but it will use less amps if your supply is 220 volt 60hz and your load is set to 50 hz
