Great fun in a small package, and very quick. (mine is at 21mph after some tweaks) BUT, be warned. It's not all wine and roses. The tyres are pretty hard and slippery, and the shocks are....well...shocking! After two drives, the shocks were jamming up and locking. There is too much play between the shaft and the housing, so grit and dirt jam in there. The real issue with this car though, is the bearings. Sure, it has metal bearings. Great, right? Not all metal bearing are created equal... Do NOT run this car in wet mud, unless you are confident to strip the car down to it's bare bones and replace parts. I ran the car thought a small boggy patch a few times. Great fun watching the car scream through the goop, throwing mud in the air and leaving muddy donuts on the nearby tarmac....until the car started making some truly questionable grinding noises. After removing the wheels and giving the car a wash off in the shower, I was expecting it to be back to smooth running, much like my older Tamiya's would, but NOPE! I ended up stripping the car's entire transmission and suspension. All but 2 of the 15 metal bearing had seized solid, from one muddy run. The bearings are open sided and the manufacturers haven't used much grease, so water and dirt just floods into the car and the bearings and clogs everything. It was the bearings making that grinding, gritty noise. Likewise, the suspension was literally full of mud! And i don't mean the springs. I mean the cylinders!! The suspension is also showing signs of rust! (From just 5 mins of mudding!) If you want to really put this car through the mill, take my advice. Buy new shocks (yet to receive my replacements), new abec sealed bearings (nine 12x8x3.5mm , and six 8x4x3mm bearings) and get some lithium grease. Without these upgrades, it won't last long in harsh conditions. Otherwise a really fun car and if you are planning to just jump/slide/speed around on dry dust/concrete, it'll do just fine as is.

Q: how fast does it go?

BG122156813 The 50kmh above is a total lie (unless you maybe throw it off a building?). It will push 21mph (33kmh) with stock setup in the dry. I've managed 23mph with new abec bearings, better greasing, and better shocks.

Q: Si possono usare batterie 3S?

zapytał GabrieleTestori na 2021-11-15 02:52:54

BG122156813 No, 3S will have too high a voltage and in general are too large. max battery size is 70x38x20mm and 7.4 volts

Q: Can I find spare parts? End additional battery?

zapytał Clared85 na 2021-01-08 08:03:09

BG122156813 Spares for HS 18311 (available on this site) work for this car*. There are also metal upgrades available here and on ebay, amazon etc. * except for the shock towers shell mounts. Which are larger on HS 18311. Otherwise. the main chassis, wishbone, steering, gears, tyres, bumpers, etc are all identical.

BG122156813 Look for 7.4v Li-ion 2 cell with T-plug. Size 70mm x 38mm x 20mm (you can go over by a mm or two, but aim for those measurements or less)

BG122156813 Any Li-ion 2 cell, 7.4v with a T plug will do, just be sure to check measurements. (70mm x 20mm x 38mm give or take a couple of mm) higher Mah means longer run time, but more pressure on the car, so use caution. A certain jungle related online retailer has loads of them.
