I bought this model more to have "some" bricks and play around with the R/C part, but my 6 years old daughter saw it and wanted to build it. She had much fun building it and driving around. Motor is not too powerful, but it can carry some load, its 35MHz with digital controls, you can select between 3 channels. My daugther had fun crashing into various obstacles, some bricks went loose, nothing broken, nice. Windshield has some minor scratches, but that's much less than expected ;) Suddenly it stopped reacting to R/C Control, when I realized that at the back of the car is the R/C channel selector, which switched during a crash. After finding that and switching channel all is fine again. I did not expect too much considering the price, but it's definitely a recommendation for younger children or to have some bricks to play around. Thumbs up!
