BG454816574 Motors are controlling over negative channel. The reason is the loss is way lower in negative channel over positive one, (rgate, npn). At least on my version, which is makes sense over positive channel control.

pedromadeira yes it can do it, if you supply a ftp to send the pictures, or upload to your YouTube.

Q: Does it measure DC with the clamp

zapytał Chattonlad na 2019-08-23 05:42:01

Lindsay It tries to measure DC amps with the clamp, but the measurement is unreliable and always different. As for DC voltage, that is measured with the probes.

Lindsay One of the wires is earth, connected to the metal body, find out which one that is using a multimeter. Then the other three wires are your motor wires. If you connect them wrongly to your VFD all that will happen is your motor will spin the wrong way. Just make sure you know how to program your VFD. Banggood, would it kill you to pay someone to write proper English instructions for all the crap you sell?

Lindsay PS The motor does seem underpowered and with 6mm endmills cutting wood I only cut at depths of 1mm with a max federate of 400mm per min. It gets too hot and I think it is meant to be used with the mount which acts as a heat sink. If you put it on a home cnc you will need to manage the heat somehow. In my case light work seems to have melted the fan on the shaft. Awesome. Also the fan is a hazard and though I thought I had secured the wires out of the way, they ended up wrapping around the fan and stalling the motor. Shutting it off in 5 seconds seems to have saved the motor, maybe..

I think this is a great buy, hence the 5 stars for Value and Appearance. (So Bang Good - please don't ask me to give it a better score) The quality I have rated lower - even though it is cheap - because it doesn't feel very safe. Be careful :) The electronics consist of a fuse, 4 massive diodes and a big 330uF 400Vcap, after that it's a bunch of smaller components and ICs not possible to identify. The output of this metal box is not 100V DC at all. It is a typical cheap power supply producing a very rough looking 350V square wave with frequency around 20KHz and a duty cycle from 0 to 33%. So I guess it's 100V if you are willing to take the average over time... but that's not DC, so why say it is? There is no earth connection and exposed high voltages everywhere so I would flag this as electrically unsafe. The voltages on the potentiometer terminals are also over 200V! So basically you need to put this in a plastic box with air vents so no one can touch it and die. I was hoping there'd be a way to replace the POT and wire the wiper to a D to A converter and control the speed electronically, but I'm not game to try with the voltages I measured. Yes, the bearings are quiet at low speed, although there is a plastic cylinder with a shoddy fan on the end which is pretty unbalanced and causes it to vibrate when the duty cycle is turned up all the way to 33%. The unit comes with screw terminals with basic labels but no other information except a sticker on the metal box that says "don't tear open outfit" aha alright then... The aluminium block that comes with 4 bolts but no nuts and it has no threads either. I give it 3 stars for quality - what does anyone expect for this price?

Lindsay Add to that: repeatability is about /- 30 microns or 3 hundredths of a mm.After receiving a metal splinter, I went over the unimportant edges with a file to remove burrs and sharpness. It has been very good for CNC work.

Q: The spindle extension is 45mm long - is there a shorter one?
