This charger is not so intelligent than the labels say. If to connect the charger to the battery, it wakes up automatically, as there is no On/Off switch. And the charger starts immediately show an animation, as like the charging process has already been started (even though the charger is not connected to the AC mains yet), and even the current draw in Ampers is shown (without connection to the mains). This kind of false information on the display makes me suspectible about the other displayed information too. The amperage (without the mains connection) is above 1 A. The voltage is still close to what I can measure from the battery with a multimeter. And thermometre seems to be quite accurate. The actual charging starts, when the charger is connected to the mains, but the charging voltage is a bit too high to my taste - ca 15V with the normal charging mode and even above 15,5 V with the winter mode, with 12V battery. Voltage values are corresponding to what I can measure with a multimeter. Haven't tested how precise is the amperage. It is pretty easy to accidentally touch the Mode button, and to select undsired mode, without even noticing.

Nice little meter for DC Voltage, Current, Power, Energy, Battery Capacity, External/Internal Resistance. Pretty accurate readings, tested with my multimeter. Though, it's a pity, that measuring stops completely, when sitched to power saving (dormant) mode. I'd prefer, if power saving only turned off the LCD. Highly recommended accessory for battery management!

svilponis Press REL button to zero DC amps reading before you start to measure. This should remove any constant offset, for following measurement. This multimeter is not meant for non contact measurement of very low currents, so do not expect, that you can get precise results for currents below 1 A.

Nice little tool. Bought it primarily for it's non contact DC current measurement ability. Readings are smilar to my other multimeters, so it seems, that it is pretty accurate and trustworthy.

svilponis I used my Ampermeter and measured the current. The antual current is totally different than the charger is showing.

Q: can it measure low dc current like 20 mAmp ?

svilponis It has resolution of 0.01A (10 mA), so it can show you value 20 mA, but it is not precise at such low currents (precision level at such small currents is ca ±0,35A.
