Nvnight @dimboud the only noise is coming from the rotating mechanism of the nebula light. the fastest it rotates the greater the noise and its a lot in the fastest setting. but you can slow it down or even stop it from rotating from the remote control.

build quality is very good, only minus that the base is not super stable. the manual included is very well written. the lighting effect is excellent, even visible when not totally dark. remote works well as well as the built in controls, in general it is a great product.
