Out of all my heli's: k123, k124, V931, V977 this one, K110, hovered right out of the box with little issue. The V977 was o.k. but the pitch/throttle curve can't be adjusted on the WL stuff. They're O.K. but..... More control is better.
Use the internet to get americanized instructions but by golly, thank
banggood for a decent price.
I flew Concept 30's in the 90's with Super Tigre .32's and a modified one with
an OS Max .46. That was a beast. Those were with mechanical gyros too just on the tail rotor. All analog in those days. I never progressed much past circuits because I as so afraid to crash. A crash and motor burn-out would be $200.00 to $350.00 on a rebuild and computer simulators were very crude in those days. Ambrosia Software "Aerochopper" was the best but the graphics were not like they are now!
These little helis are a little "squirrelly" but master them (indoors in a gym is fine)
and one can progress and not be as scared in you elect to go larger. I enjoy flying again. Had a few "tough landings" with these little heli's but would have
cost beaucoup dollars to fix n the past, I pick the little bugger up, inspect it, straighten the blades and go on flying! (Errr, hover practice)
I found a park that has an area of tall grass where I can start to practice tight circuits. If I screw up, the grass will handle the crash and as long as I keep the K100 close, I should be good!
