I do not like to give bad notes for products, but I am fraid, I will have to make an exeption rating this product......Looks nice, but the battery unit where you can put 3 aaa batteries in was falling apart when I tried to install the batteries.1 of the springs was not attached to the plastic properly so it jumped out and caused a short circuit. The batteries got hot. I have re inserted the spring, which is held to its place now by the battery itself without shorting out. When I inserted the third battery the plastic broke. I just could screw the backside onto the torch. It works, but for how long? The battery holder is completely gone. (broken).The "UV" Light is not bright at all, and I doubt that it is ultra violet at all. In short: A waste of money buying this product. XANES should make better products. fx123 The build is a bit weirdThere is 9 LEDs in parrallel with no current limiting resistorThose leds have a fwd voltage of ~ 3vThe - connection is done through the enclosureI suspect the enclosure has bad connectivity, which limits the max current somehow randomly
