Comes with Foam protection inside. Plastic is not impact resistant. I accidentally dropped the case from my bed onto the floor (about 0.6 m from the floor) and the plastic edges chipped and broke off. Also didn't arrive with NBR seal - so definitely not waterproof. Good for general storage of non-sensitive items/

Very nice suitcase for small stuff like cameras and accessories, seems sturdy and is easy to fit stuff into due to precut patterns inside.
