Nice doorbell with an extra indoor bell. Easy to pair to the indoor bell, and 2.4GHz wifi home network. The outdoor unit is capable of working with 3 lithium batteries. 3 batteries are working in parallel, so my capacity was about 7000 mA. In text they talk about a life span of a number of months when using these batteries, but in my case after 3 weeks power indication in the app told me power was down to 30%. Attention for the following: in the official booklet and on this site you cannot find the exact AC voltage with which the outdoor unit has to be powered. People even talk about connecting the outdoor unit directly to the mains (110Volt, or 230Volt) DON'T DO THIS. It is very dangerous and you run a risk of electrocution, and you will probably see smoke coming out of the outdoor unit. I ordered an old fashioned 12Volt secundairy bell transformer (2 amps) to be certain. The transformer does not get warm in my case. The battery indicator in the app shows the battery is charging, and after a few days it shows the batteries are full again. However it would be nice if the manufacturer will state the REAL power requirements for this outdoor unit. That would make it much easier to find the proper power supply. Its a pity that the outside unit chime inside is not switchable in the app. I do not want the sound outside of my house when somebody uses the bell. Indoors, I want to hear it. Allso there is a delay in pressing the button and your phone reacting to the caller. Sometimes more than 6 seconds.
