Have used this 3Amp 300VDC generator as a makeshift battery charger. Has worked very well. Sometimes it stops a few tenths of a Volt above your setting. E.g. stops at 126.3V when set for 126.0V. Otherwise does what it says. Fan comes on when the chassi is handwarm. Remember to use insulated gloves when working with live power above 50V. Also, when connecting to batteries start the machine and activate the output to within a few Volts to avoid arcing/sparks. E.g. Power on, output on, 180V+-2V when battery is at 180V.
