they look legit. they work legitimately. I have no doubt you could use these for extremely long range. I put one in my glider and it was merely a spec, probably more than 300 meters up. I'll test the second one later.

This is my second purchase on these, after good results with the first batch of three receivers - now trust in range and reliability is good, so i use the receiver for larger planes and electric gliders which reach higher altitudes. Binding in failsafe mode (returning servos to their startup position once signal is lost) is possible with these by the following procedure: - transmitter off, connect bind plug, power up the receiver , remove bind plug and start transmitter in binsing mode.
