This works very well with an Arduino nano v3 (bought on BG), but is a mirror image of the other BG pixel rings (not Neopixel). This has a great effect as you can easily have them running in a chase sequence in opposite directions with the same code. It looks really cool :) I've built mine into a DSLR Light ring encased in a 3D printed case (using a CR-10 from BG), and they are more than bright enough when you have this one together with a larger BG 24 pixel ring.

I ordered 2 and they came quite quickly (2 weeks). Both worked with the standard Adafruit NeoPixel library which you can get from the link at the end of this review. Note that to get perfect reliability I had to solder wires to the power, ground, and data in.
