I am surprised! Needed something to inspect ball bearing raceways with. Looking for frosting and fluting. To have that done in a lab costs around ten times the cost for this microscope. There are details down to less than 0.5 micrometers so I didn't expect much. But the prsence og EDM damages can very easily be studied with this cheap little "plastic" device. The light is more than sufficient for my needs - in fact, I use a weaker external lamp for those shiny ball bearing surfaces. My parts are too

Packaging is excellent and shiping was reasonably fast. Microscope works as promised - if you are familiar with old optic microscopes for students - now you can watch wings of flies on your PC screen in high resolution - much more friendly for eyes ! As I have 3D print opportunities - I will make some custom adapters for even more practical work on soldering in DIY projects .. (to achieve a change in viewing angle - useful for avoiding flux evaporation in lenses during soldering) All in all - great
