Not much bigger than AA cell, very smooth threads, no battery rattle with magnet in tail cap. I got the warm white version. The tint is very yellow with daylight adapted eyes, but at night the tint is very pleasant, and is very close to an incandescent light. Changing modes is easy and consistent. I'm using it with an Xtar protected 14500 with no problems, I hear batteries longer than this (51-51.5mm) don't fit. Works with AA NiMH as well. Check Budgetlightforum for very favorable reviews.

Using the 14500 battery. It's bright. Natural white color is perfect. Well made. It's expensive for what it is but If on sale it's a better value. I'd recommend.
